Boston, MA

They provide free support to caregivers and families and children ages 0-8 who have been exposed to community violence, a trauma-related event, or domestic violence.

They offer a variety of adult bereavement groups (walking group, book club, expressive arts support group, etc.) and a bereavement program for those ages 5-18 at “The Garden.”

They offer in-person child peer support groups, day-long retreats, "family nights" for parents and children, and parent bereavement groups.

They offer in-person caregiver and child peer support groups in addition to a virtual grandparent group. Individual counseling support is available for a fee.

An organization that supports traumatically bereaved parents and caregivers who have experienced the death of a child or infant. The loss of an infant could be during pregnancy, stillbirth, or early in life.

They offer support groups, mindfulness, and advocacy for those impacted by the death of a person by suicide, homicide, overdose and incarceration. They provide an emergency/crisis care in the first 24-72 hours after a homicide.

Newton Wellesley Hospital

They offer a Child Loss Support Group for those who have had a child die before birth, at birth, or shortly after birth.

They offer peer support groups to youth and caregivers at their site as well as in local schools.

Samaritans
MA

They offer virtual and in-person support groups to those who have had a person die by suicide. There is one specifically for parents and caregivers of children who have died by suicide.

They offer suicide prevention, education, and grief support programs.

The Sun Will Rise

They offer in-person groups all over MA and virtual meetings for those ages 18+ who have had someone die by overdose or substance related death.
